Building Awareness for Skin Donation Through Advertising

For our college's final project, I aimed to create a film and print advertising campaign on a social issue.

Instead of addressing commonly discussed topics, I wanted to highlight an area that is less known but critically important.

Having grown up in the environment of the Manashakti Research Centre in Lonavala, a prominent social institution, I was inspired by the actions of its founder, Swami Vijnanananda, who underwent skin donation three times as an act of penance. This exposure made the topic of skin donation resonate with me from an early age.

Rather than inventing a hypothetical client, I promoted the Sion Hospital Skin Bank, directed by Dr. Sunil Keswani. This campaign aimed to educate and encourage more people to consider skin donation after death, potentially saving countless lives.
